On June 10-13, 2015, Nanjing Institute of Railway Technology will hold the 8^th International Symposium for Railroad Universities in Europe and Asia, and General meeting of IASTU APC members.

Theme of the Symposium:

‘The Construction and Development of Euro-Asian Transport Corridors’

Main Subjects of the Symposium:

1. The construction and development of Europe-Asia transport corridors

2. The new technology of high speed railway

3. The new technology of high speed railway equipment manufacturing

4. The cultivation of international talents for high speed railways

In December 2014 the International Academic General Conference “Increasing the Energy Efficiency of Transport Systems” hosted by Omsk State Transport University gathered together the representatives of Russian and foreign transport universities, including guests from Dalian Transport University (China).

Participants of the Conference have discussed the main modern trends for energy efficiency, energy saving technologies and techniques, use of energy efficient technologies and energy saving devices in transport area.

The Conference established new lines of cooperation for education and academic exchange, joint research (publishing, inventions).
